Program Development Services
Ascent Training Services have designed a range of education and behaviour change programs. (Train the trainer and auditing/appraisal services are also provided to support these programs).
Program development is based on best practice education and behaviour change principles. We have expertise and experience in the following areas.
1. Young Driver Safety
- P Drivers Project Curriculum Development (ATSB, NSW RTA, VicRoads)
- Adapted Road Ready Course for Non High School Participants (ACT Government).
- Developed 2 hour extension Module for Road Ready Plus
2. Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations.
Developed Assessment Instruments and Master Marking Guides for nationally accredited Car Driver Instructor, Motor Cycle Rider Instructor and Heavy Vehicle Driver Instructor qualifications (AustRoads)
3. Offender Programs
- Drink Driving - Facilitator Induction Refresher Training and Coaching and Support programs for NSW Sober Driver Program (Corrective Services NSW)
- Adaptation of SDP for delivery in Correctional setting
4. Programs Under Development
- Behaviour change for habitual Drive While Disqualified Offenders- due to significant interest and demand from several Australian jurisdictions
- Drug Driving - In response to new legislation
- Alcohol Awareness Course - Education for first time offenders
