Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training - Car (TLI41222)

Ascent Training Services offers the Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training - Car (TLI41222), for those wishing to become an ACT Accredited Driving Instructor.

The course runs for 16 days and includes on road training with an accredited driving instructor. 
Workshop:          10 days
On-Road:            6 days

The course will be held Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for all course dates. Exact dates will be updated when they have been confirmed.
The cost is $ 5,500. Prices are subject to change.

 
Before enrolment is confirmed, we will need the following things;
     * Attend an enrolment interview
     * Obtain a 5-year driving history check
     * Undergo a commercial drivers medical check
     * Driving assessment with our nominated driving school

 If you intend on being an ACT accredited driving instructor, and you wish to be able to assess learner drivers for their driving competencies, you will need to complete an additional unit of competency (TAEASS412- Assess Competence). This unit is an additional 4 days and costs $ 800.00.

Completion of either of these courses will result in receiving a nationally recognised VET qualification.

Please note that the on-road training and assessment component of this course is delivered on our behalf by Fifth Gear Motoring, under our supervision.
